Regarding Negative Dynamics

mini-manifesto

All art is in one way or another involved with the question: what does it mean to be human? But interestingly 'the human' cannot be defined; it naturally defies definition since 'the human' belongs to its ever-changing context. This is another way to say that 'the human' is indefinite. And that is how I approach the above question, namely by embracing the 'indefinite' and to explore rather the question: what CAN it mean to be human? Or, what can the human become? In this sense art aims to continuously explore, pressurize and expand the boundaries or the limits of 'the human' through new sensations; consequently exploring new ways to sense and think. In this regard, a piece of art should be a sensation experiment at the edge of 'the human'.
